²³ He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on^(A) her so that she will be healed and live.”

¹³ Then he put his hands on her,^(A) and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

⁴⁰ At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one,^(A) he healed them.^(B)

¹⁸ they will pick up snakes^(A) with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on^(B) sick people, and they will get well.”

⁸ His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after prayer,^(A) placed his hands on him^(B) and healed him.^(C)

¹⁴ Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders^(A) of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil^(B) in the name of the Lord. ¹⁵ And the prayer offered in faith^(C) will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

²³ He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit^(A) on the man’s eyes and put his hands on^(B) him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”

³² There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk,^(A) and they begged Jesus to place his hand on^(B) him.

¹² As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out—the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.

² There a centurion’s servant, whom his master valued highly, was sick and about to die. ³ The centurion heard of Jesus and sent some elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and heal his servant.
