¹⁷ And ^(A)these signs will accompany those who believe: ^(B)in my name they will cast out demons; ^(C)they will speak in new tongues;

²⁸ And ^(A)God has appointed in the church first ^(B)apostles, second ^(C)prophets, third teachers, then ^(D)miracles, then ^(E)gifts of healing, ^(F)helping, ^(G)administrating, and ^(H)various kinds of tongues.

¹⁶ The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, ^(A)bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

¹⁰ to another ^(A)the working of miracles, to another ^(B)prophecy, to another ^(C)the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another ^(D)various kinds of tongues, to another ^(E)the interpretation of tongues.

⁷ For ^(A)unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.

The Return of the Seventy-Two

^17 (A)The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, ^(B)even the demons are subject to us in your name!”

⁴⁶ For they were hearing them ^(A)speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared,

⁶ And ^(A)when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and ^(B)they began speaking in tongues and ^(C)prophesying.

¹² “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I ^(B)am going to the Father.
