^16 (A)Whoever believes and is ^(B)baptized ^(C)will be saved, but ^(D)whoever ^(E)does not believe will be condemned.

^36 (A)Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; ^(B)whoever does not obey the Son shall not ^(C)see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

⁹ because, if ^(A)you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and ^(B)believe in your heart ^(C)that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. ¹¹ For the Scripture says, ^(D)“Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” ^12 (E)For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; ^(F)for the same Lord is Lord of all, ^(G)bestowing his riches on all who call on him. ¹³ For ^(H)“everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

¹⁴ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him ^(I)of whom they have never heard?^[a] And how are they to hear ^(J)without someone preaching?

²⁵ Jesus said to her, ^(A)“I am the resurrection and ^(B)the life.^[a] Whoever believes in me, ^(C)though he die, ^(D)yet shall he live, ²⁶ and everyone who lives and believes in me ^(E)shall never die. Do you believe this?”

^18 (A)Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not ^(B)believed in the name of the only Son of God. ^19 (C)And this is the judgment: ^(D)the light has come into the world, and ^(E)people loved the darkness rather than the light because ^(F)their works were evil.

¹⁵ that whoever believes ^(A)in him ^(B)may have eternal life.^[a]

For God So Loved the World

¹⁶ “For ^(C)God so loved ^(D)the world,^{[b] (E)}that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not ^(F)perish but have eternal life.

³⁸ And Peter said to them, ^(A)“Repent and ^(B)be baptized every one of you ^(C)in the name of Jesus Christ ^(D)for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive ^(E)the gift of the Holy Spirit.

²⁴ I told you that you ^(A)would die in your sins, for ^(B)unless you believe that ^(C)I am he you will die in your sins.”

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever hears my word and ^(B)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He ^(C)does not come into judgment, but ^(D)has passed from death to life.
