^48 (A)Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me?

^52 (A)Then Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and the elders who had come to Him, “Have you come out, as against a ^(B)robber, with swords and clubs? ⁵³ When I was with you daily in the ^(C)temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your ^(D)hour, and the power of darkness.”

¹⁸ And he said, ^(A)“Why does my lord thus pursue his servant? For what have I done, or what evil is in my hand?

¹⁴ After whom has the king of Israel come out? Whom do you pursue? ^(A)A dead dog? ^(B)A flea? ^15 (C)Therefore let the Lord be judge, and judge between you and me, and ^(D)see and ^(E)plead my case, and deliver me out of your hand.”

⁵⁵ In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me.
