³¹ So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up.^(A) The fever left her and she began to wait on them.

⁴¹ He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive.

² and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene)^(A) from whom seven demons had come out; ³ Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s^(B) household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.

⁴¹ He took her by the hand^(A) and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”).^(B)

⁴¹ In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.^(A)
