²⁸ They answered Him, “John the Baptist; and others say Elijah; but others, one of the prophets.” ²⁹ And He asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter replied to Him, “You [in contrast to the others] are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).” ³⁰ Then Jesus strictly warned them not to tell anyone about Him.
