Mark 7:6-9
New King James Version
6 He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you (A)hypocrites, as it is written:
(B)‘This people honors Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
7 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—[a]the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”
9 He said to them, “All too well (C)you [b]reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

6 But He said to them, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written:

Amplified Bible
6 He replied, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites (play-actors, pretenders), as it is written [in Scripture],

8 You disregard and neglect the commandment of God, and cling [faithfully] to the tradition of men.”
9 He was also saying to them, “You are experts at setting aside and nullifying the commandment of God in order to keep your [man-made] tradition and regulations.

7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’[a](A)
8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”(B)

King James Version
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
