32 “Subalit (B) tungkol sa araw at oras na iyon ay walang nakakaalam kahit ang mga anghel sa langit, kahit ang Anak, maliban sa Ama. 33 Mag-ingat kayo at maging handa[a], sapagkat hindi ninyo alam kung kailan darating ang takdang panahon. 34 Tulad (C) nito ay isang taong umalis upang maglakbay. Sa pag-alis niya'y iniwan niya sa kanyang mga alipin ang pamamahala. Binigyan niya ng tungkulin ang bawat isa, at inutusan ang tanod sa pinto na magbantay.

Be alert and pray, because you do not know when the time will come. 34 It is like a man going away on a journey. When he left his home, he put his servants in charge and assigned what each one was to do. He also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.

Be alert[a]!(B) You do not know when that time will come. 34 It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants(C) in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.
