³⁵ And ^(A)a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, ^(B)my Chosen One;^{[a] (C)}listen to him!”

²² and ^(A)the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and ^(B)a voice came from heaven, ^(C)“You are my beloved Son;^[a] with you I am well pleased.”^[b]

¹⁷ and behold, ^(A)a voice from heaven said, ^(B)“This is my beloved Son,^[a] with whom I am well pleased.”

^18 (A)I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. ^(B)And I will put my words in his mouth, and ^(C)he shall speak to them all that I command him. ^19 (D)And whoever will ^(E)not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him.

⁹ And ^(A)being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

¹⁵ As it is said,

A Rest for the People of God

⁷ Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says,

²² Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you ^(A)a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen ^(B)to him in whatever he tells you. ²³ And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet ^(C)shall be destroyed from the people.’

^22 (A)For the Father judges no one, but ^(B)has given all judgment to the Son, ²³ that all may honor the Son, just as they ^(C)honor the Father. ^(D)Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. ²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(E)whoever hears my word and ^(F)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He ^(G)does not come into judgment, but ^(H)has passed from death to life.
