^27 (A)But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God.”

²⁸ Assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

²² Jesus said to him, “If I ^[a]will that he remain ^(A)till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.”

²³ Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?”

⁹ But we see Jesus, ^(A)who was made ^[a]a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death ^(B)crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death ^(C)for everyone.

⁵⁹ Then ^(A)they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, ^(B)going^[a] through the midst of them, and so passed by.

⁵¹ Most assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”

⁵² Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You ^(B)have a demon! ^(C)Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’

¹⁸ for ^(A)I say to you, ^[a]I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

²⁶ And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not ^(A)see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

²⁵ Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

9 And He said to them, ^(B)“Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see ^(C)the kingdom of God ^[a]present with power.”
