⁴³ A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding,^[a] and she could find no cure.

¹⁶ This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?”

²² for this miraculous sign—the healing of a man who had been lame for more than forty years.

² As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple.

²¹ but we don’t know how he can see or who healed him. Ask him. He is old enough to speak for himself.”

Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

9 As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth.

⁵ One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. ⁶ When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?”

¹¹ he saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight.

²⁷ As Jesus was climbing out of the boat, a man who was possessed by demons came out to meet him. For a long time he had been homeless and naked, living in the tombs outside the town.
