42 For he had but a daughter only, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying (and as he went, the people thronged him.
43 And a woman having an issue of blood, twelve years long, which had spent all her [a]substance upon physicians, and could not be healed of any:
44 When she came behind him, she touched the hem of his garment, and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

42 because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.
As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. 43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding(A) for twelve years,[a] but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak,(B) and immediately her bleeding stopped.
