Do Not Judge^(A)

^37 (B)“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. ^(C)Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

³² And ^(A)be kind to one another, tenderhearted, ^(B)forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Do Not Judge^(A)

7 “Judge^{[a] (B)}not, that you be not judged. ² For with what ^[b]judgment you judge, you will be judged; ^(C)and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. ^3 (D)And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? ⁴ Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? ⁵ Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

⁹ Do not ^[a]grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be ^[b]condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

¹⁰ But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For ^(A)we shall all stand before the judgment seat of ^[a]Christ. ¹¹ For it is written:

¹² So then ^(C)each of us shall give account of himself to God. ¹³ Therefore let us not judge one another ^[b]anymore, but rather resolve this, ^(D)not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.

The Law of Love

¹⁴ I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus ^(E)that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. ¹⁵ Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. ^(F)Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died. ^16 (G)Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil;

³ Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and ^(A)let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him. ^4 (B)Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.

³⁴ And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

^35 (A)“So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother ^[a]his trespasses.”

^13 (A)bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

God’s Righteous Judgment

2 Therefore you are ^(A)inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, ^(B)for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. ² But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.
