¹⁰ and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Then Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching people.”^(A)

⁴⁷ “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was thrown into the sea and caught fish of every kind;^(A)

¹⁹ And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of people.”

⁹ Wherever the river goes,^[a] every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish once these waters reach there. It will become fresh, and everything will live where the river goes. ¹⁰ People will stand fishing beside the sea^[b] from En-gedi to En-eglaim; it will be a place for the spreading of nets; its fish will be of a great many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.^(A)

⁷ So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.

¹⁷ And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of people.”

²³ As for Titus, he is my partner and coworker in your service; as for our brothers, they are messengers^[a] of the churches, the glory of Christ.^(A)

⁴ All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.^(A)
