⁴⁷ and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.^(A)

³¹ God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior that he might give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.^(A)

³⁸ Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.^(A)

¹⁹ Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit^(A)

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense is offered to my name and a pure offering, for my name is great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts.^(A)

²¹ as I testified to both Jews and Greeks about repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus.^[a](A)

¹⁸ When they heard this, they were silenced. And they praised God, saying, “Then God has given even to the gentiles the repentance that leads to life.”^(A)

¹² For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and is generous to all who call on him.^{(A) 13} For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”^(B)

¹⁴ But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed?^[a] And how are they to believe^[b] in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him? ¹⁵ And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”^{(C) 16} But not all have obeyed the good news,^[c] for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed^[d] our message?”^{(D) 17} So faith^[e] comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.^[f]

¹⁸ But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have:
