Faith and Duty^(A)

⁵ And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”

²⁴ Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; ^(A)help my unbelief!”

² looking unto Jesus, the ^[a]author and ^[b]finisher of our faith, ^(A)who for the joy that was set before Him ^(B)endured the cross, despising the shame, and ^(C)has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹³ I can do all things ^(A)through ^[a]Christ who strengthens me.

God’s Final Judgment and Glory

³ We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,

^8 (A)Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. ⁹ And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly ^(B)I will rather boast in my infirmities, ^(C)that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ¹⁰ Therefore ^(D)I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. ^(E)For when I am weak, then I am strong.

The Enduring Word

²² Since you ^(A)have purified your souls in obeying the truth ^[a]through the Spirit in ^[b]sincere ^(B)love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, ^23 (C)having been born again, not of ^[c]corruptible seed but ^[d]incorruptible, ^(D)through the word of God which lives and abides ^[e]forever,

¹³ When the Lord saw her, He had ^(A)compassion on her and said to her, ^(B)“Do not weep.”

Feeding the Five Thousand^(A)

^30 (B)Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.
