¹² I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom^(A) than for that town.^(B)

¹⁵ Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah^(A) on the day of judgment^(B) than for that town.^(C)

²⁴ But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”^(A)

¹¹ And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet^(A) as a testimony against them.”

⁴⁸ As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign^(A) Lord, your sister Sodom^(B) and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done.^(C)

⁴⁹ “‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom:^(D) She and her daughters were arrogant,^(E) overfed and unconcerned;^(F) they did not help the poor and needy.^{(G) 50} They were haughty^(H) and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.^(I)
