¹⁹ And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to ^[a]Jesus, saying, “Are You ^(A)the Coming One, or ^[b]do we look for another?”

²⁰ When the men had come to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’ ” ²¹ And that very hour He cured many of ^[c]infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight.

^22 (B)Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: ^(C)that the blind ^(D)see, the lame ^(E)walk, the lepers are ^(F)cleansed, the deaf ^(G)hear, the dead are raised, ^(H)the poor have the gospel preached to them.

⁴² Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, ^(A)“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! ⁴³ But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? ⁴⁴ For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. ^45 (B)Blessed is she who ^[a]believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
