19 And He said to them, “What things?”
So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, (A)who was a Prophet (B)mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 (C)and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. 21 But we were hoping (D)that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.

19 “What things?” he asked.
“About Jesus of Nazareth,”(A) they replied. “He was a prophet,(B) powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. 20 The chief priests and our rulers(C) handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; 21 but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel.(D) And what is more, it is the third day(E) since all this took place.
