47 Every day he was teaching at the temple.(A) But the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the leaders among the people were trying to kill him.(B)
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 and were unable to do anything; for all the people were very attentive to (A)hear Him.
48 Yet they could not find any way to do it, because all the people hung on his words.
