9 The Lord spoke to Moses: 10 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them, ‘When you enter the land that I am about to give to you and you gather in its harvest,[a] then you must bring the sheaf of the first portion of your harvest[b] to the priest, 11 and he must wave the sheaf before the Lord to be accepted for your benefit[c]—on the day after the Sabbath the priest is to wave it.[d] 12 On the day you wave the sheaf you must also offer[e] a flawless yearling lamb[f] for a burnt offering to the Lord, 13 along with its grain offering, two-tenths of an ephah of[g] choice wheat flour[h] mixed with olive oil, as a gift to the Lord, a soothing aroma,[i] and its drink offering, one-fourth of a hin of wine.[j] 14 You must not eat bread, roasted grain, or fresh grain until this very day,[k] until you bring the offering to your God. This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations[l] in all the places where you live.

9 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and you (A)gather its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord for you to be accepted; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect as a burnt offering to the Lord. 13 Its (B)grain offering shall then be [a]two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering by fire to the Lord for a soothing aroma, with its drink offering, a [b]fourth of a hin of wine. 14 Until this very day, until you have brought in the offering of your God, (C)you shall eat neither bread nor roasted grain nor new produce. It is to be a permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
