¹² You may present them to the Lord as an offering of firstfruits,^(A) but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma.

²⁰ But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits^(A) of those who have fallen asleep.

⁴ These are the ones not defiled with women, for they have kept their virginity.^(A) These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were redeemed^[a][b] from the human race as the firstfruits^(B) for God and the Lamb.
