³⁰ Then Moses^(A) took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments^(B) and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated^(C) Aaron and his garments and his sons and their garments.

³ Those were the names of Aaron’s sons, the anointed priests,^(A) who were ordained to serve as priests.

³⁰ “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate^(A) them so they may serve me as priests.^(B)

²¹ And take some blood^(A) from the altar and some of the anointing oil^(B) and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. Then he and his sons and their garments will be consecrated.^(C)

¹⁴ I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes^(A) and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.^(B)

²⁷ As for you, the anointing^(A) you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things^(B) and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.^(C)

² who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge^(A) of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit,^(B) to be obedient^(C) to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood:^(D)

Grace and peace be yours in abundance.^(E)

¹¹ Both the one who makes people holy^(A) and those who are made holy^(B) are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.^[a](C)

²² But the fruit^(A) of the Spirit is love,^(B) joy, peace,^(C) forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness and self-control.^(D) Against such things there is no law.^{(E) 24} Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh^(F) with its passions and desires.^{(G) 25} Since we live by the Spirit,^(H) let us keep in step with the Spirit.
