⁴ He shall bring the bull ^(A)to the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, lay his hand on the bull’s head, and kill the bull before the Lord.

³ ‘If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male ^(A)without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord. ^4 (B)Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be ^(C)accepted on his behalf ^(D)to make atonement for him.

Christ’s Suffering and Ours

¹⁸ For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring ^[a]us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,

²¹ Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, ^(A)confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, concerning all their sins, ^(B)putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man.

¹⁰ “You shall also have the bull brought before the tabernacle of meeting, and ^(A)Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the bull. ¹¹ Then you shall kill the bull before the Lord, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
