⁴⁸ then after he is sold he may be redeemed. One of his brothers may redeem him,

¹¹ For ^(A)he who sanctifies and ^(B)those who are sanctified ^(C)all have one source.^[a] That is why he is not ashamed to call them ^(D)brothers,^{[b] 12} saying,

¹³ And again,

And again,

⁵ Now ^(A)our flesh is as the flesh of our brothers, our children are as their children. Yet ^(B)we are forcing our sons and our daughters to be slaves, and some of our daughters have already been enslaved, but it is not in our power to help it, for other men have our fields and our vineyards.”

⁴ But ^(A)when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, ^(B)born ^(C)of woman, born ^(D)under the law, ^5 (E)to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive ^(F)adoption as sons.

⁸ and said to them, “We, as far as we are able, ^(A)have bought back our Jewish brothers who have been sold to the nations, but you even sell your brothers that they may be sold to us!” They were silent and could not find a word to say.

Kindness for Poor Brothers

³⁵ “If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, ^(A)you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you.

²⁵ “If your brother becomes poor and sells part of his property, ^(A)then his nearest redeemer shall come and redeem what his brother has sold.
