³⁷ “These are the appointed festivals of the Lord that you shall celebrate as times of holy convocation, for presenting to the Lord offerings by fire^[a]—burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each on its proper day^(A)—

² “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: These are the appointed festivals of the Lord that you shall proclaim as holy convocations, my appointed festivals.^(A)

⁴ “These are the appointed festivals of the Lord, the holy convocations, that you shall celebrate at the time appointed for them.^(A)

Everything Has Its Time

3 For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven:^(A)

¹⁶ “Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place that he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, at the Festival of Weeks, and at the Festival of Booths.^[a] They shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed;^{(A) 17} all shall give as they are able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God that he has given you.
