⁴ You must obey my laws^(A) and be careful to follow my decrees.^(B) I am the Lord your God.^(C)

² “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God.^(A)

¹⁴ You are my friends^(A) if you do what I command.^(B)

²⁷ And I will put my Spirit^(A) in you and move you to follow my decrees^(B) and be careful to keep my laws.^(C)

¹⁹ I am the Lord your God;^(A) follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.^(B)

6 These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess,

²² “‘Keep all my decrees and laws^(A) and follow them, so that the land^(B) where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out.

³⁷ “‘Keep all my decrees^(A) and all my laws^(B) and follow them. I am the Lord.’”

²⁶ But you must keep my decrees and my laws.^(A) The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things,
