⁷ And he shall ^(A)sprinkle it ^(B)seven times on him who is to be cleansed of the leprous disease. Then he shall pronounce him clean and shall ^(C)let the living bird go ^(D)into the open field.

^25 (A)I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from ^(B)all your uncleannesses, and ^(C)from all your idols ^(D)I will cleanse you.

¹⁴ So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God, ^(A)and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, ^(B)and he was clean.

¹⁰ And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, ^(A)“Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.”

² according to ^(A)the foreknowledge of God the Father, ^(B)in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and ^(C)for sprinkling with his blood:

May ^(D)grace and ^(E)peace be multiplied to you.

¹⁹ For when every commandment of the law had been declared by Moses to all the people, he took ^(A)the blood of calves and goats, ^(B)with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

¹³ For if ^(A)the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with ^(B)the ashes of a heifer, sanctify^[a] for the purification of the flesh,

Testimony Concerning the Son of God

⁶ This is he who came ^(A)by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And ^(B)the Spirit is the one who testifies, because ^(C)the Spirit is the truth.
