Lamentations 3:21-26

New American Standard Bible

²¹I recall this to my mind,
Therefore I ^[a]^(A)wait.
²²^[b]The Lord’s ^(B)acts of mercy indeed do not end,
^(C)For His compassions do not fail.
²³They are new ^(D)every morning;
Great is ^(E)Your faithfulness.
²⁴“The Lord is my ^(F)portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I ^[c]^(G)wait for Him.”
²⁵The Lord is good to those who ^[d]^(H)await Him,
To the ^[e]person who ^(I)seeks Him.
²⁶It is good that he ^(J)waits silently
For the salvation of the Lord.
