The Death of Joshua

⁶ When Joshua dismissed the people, the people of Israel went each to his inheritance to take possession of the land.

²⁸ So Joshua ^(A)sent the people away, every man to his inheritance.

Joshua's Death and Burial

^29 (B)After these things Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died, being 110 years old. ³⁰ And they buried him in his own inheritance at ^(C)Timnath-serah, which is in the hill country of Ephraim, north of the mountain of Gaash.

^31 (D)Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua ^(E)and had known all the work that the Lord did for Israel.

⁶ So Joshua ^(A)blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their tents.
