³¹ So they set up for themselves Micah’s carved image which he made, ^(A)all the time that the house of God was in Shiloh.

The Remainder of the Land Divided

18 Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together ^(A)at Shiloh, and ^(B)set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them.

³ This man went up from his city ^(A)yearly ^(B)to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of hosts in ^(C)Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there.

¹⁸ So he said to him, “We are passing from Bethlehem in Judah toward the remote mountains of Ephraim; I am from there. I went to Bethlehem in Judah; now I am going to ^(A)the house of the Lord. But there is no one who will take me into his house,

¹² “But go now to ^(A)My place which was in Shiloh, ^(B)where I set My name at the first, and see ^(C)what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.

⁴ So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from there the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts, ^(A)who dwells between ^(B)the cherubim. And the ^(C)two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

²¹ and watch; and just when the daughters of Shiloh come out ^(A)to perform their dances, then come out from the vineyards, and every man catch a wife for himself from the daughters of Shiloh; then go to the land of Benjamin.
