² And there was a lot for ^(A)the rest of the children of Manasseh according to their families: ^(B)for the children of ^[a]Abiezer, the children of Helek, ^(C)the children of Asriel, the children of Shechem, ^(D)the children of Hepher, and the children of Shemida; these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph according to their families.

¹⁸ His sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, ^[a]Abiezer, and Mahlah.

²⁹ The sons of ^(A)Manasseh: of ^(B)Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir begot Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites. ³⁰ These are the sons of Gilead: of ^[a]Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites; ³¹ of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites; ³² of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

² So he said to them, “What have I done now in comparison with you? Is not the ^[a]gleaning of the grapes of Ephraim better than ^[b]the vintage of ^(A)Abiezer?
