Joshua 4:1

4 And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the Lord spake unto Joshua, saying,

4 When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan,^(A) the Lord said to Joshua,

²And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

²Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered^(A) Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.

¹⁰And the Lord said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?

¹⁰The Lord said to Joshua, “Stand up! What are you doing down on your face?
