50 I do not seek my own glory.
There is one who seeks it,
and he is the judge.
51 Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever keeps my word
will never see death.”
52 The Jews retorted, “Now we are positive that you are possessed. Abraham died, and the Prophets are dead. Yet you say, ‘Whoever keeps my word will never taste death.’

52 At this they exclaimed, “Now we know that you are demon-possessed!(C) Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death.
