⁵³ So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of ^(A)the Son of Man and drink his blood, you ^(B)have no life in you.

^12 (A)Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Institution of the Lord's Supper

^26 (A)Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and ^(B)after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; ^(C)this is my body.” ²⁷ And he took a cup, and when he ^(D)had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, ²⁸ for ^(E)this is my ^(F)blood of the^[a] covenant, which is poured out for ^(G)many ^(H)for the forgiveness of sins.

⁵⁵ For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.

^4 (A)Abide ^(B)in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

⁴⁷ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever believes has eternal life.

²⁶ Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)you are seeking me, not because you saw ^(B)signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. ^27 (C)Do not work for the food that perishes, but for ^(D)the food that endures to eternal life, which ^(E)the Son of Man will give to you. For on ^(F)him God the Father has ^(G)set his seal.”

³ Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is ^(A)born ^(B)again^[a] he cannot ^(C)see the kingdom of God.”

^17 (A)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. ^(B)To the one who conquers I will give some of ^(C)the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with ^(D)a new name written on the stone ^(E)that no one knows except the one who receives it.’
