⁴⁵ It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me.^(A)

³³ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.^{(A) 34} No longer shall they teach one another or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and remember their sin no more.^(B)

⁹ Now concerning love of the brothers and sisters, you do not need to have anyone write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another,^(A)

⁶⁵ And he said, “For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted by the Father.”^(A)

³⁷ Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away,^(A)

³⁸ and you do not have his word abiding in you, because you do not believe him whom he has sent.^(A)

³⁹ “You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life, and it is they that testify on my behalf.^{(B) 40} Yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

⁵ While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, the Beloved;^[a] with him I am well pleased; listen to him!”^(A)
