²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever hears my word and ^(B)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He ^(C)does not come into judgment, but ^(D)has passed from death to life.

^36 (A)Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; ^(B)whoever does not obey the Son shall not ^(C)see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

¹¹ And this is the testimony, that God gave us ^(A)eternal life, and ^(B)this life is in his Son. ^12 (C)Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

That You May Know

¹³ I write ^(D)these things to you who ^(E)believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.

^18 (A)Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not ^(B)believed in the name of the only Son of God.

⁴⁰ For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who ^(A)looks on the Son and ^(B)believes in him ^(C)should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

8 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.^[a]

⁴⁷ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever believes has eternal life.

²⁶ and everyone who lives and believes in me ^(A)shall never die. Do you believe this?”
