²⁰ The Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing, and he will show him greater works than these, so that you will be astonished.^(A)

³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in his hands.^(A)

¹⁷ And a voice from the heavens said, “This is my Son, the Beloved,^[a] with whom I am well pleased.”^(A)

¹⁷ For he received honor and glory from God the Father when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, my Beloved,^[a] with whom I am well pleased.”^(A)

²⁶ I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them and I in them.”^(A)

¹⁵ I do not call you servants^[a] any longer, because the servant^[b] does not know what the master is doing, but I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father.

¹² Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

⁴⁵ And whoever sees me sees him who sent me.^{(A) 46} I have come as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me should not remain in the darkness.^{(B) 47} I do not judge anyone who hears my words and does not keep them, for I came not to judge the world but to save the world.^(C)

³² Jesus replied, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these are you going to stone me?”

²⁹ and will come out: those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation.^(A)
