³² And ^(A)what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.

^11 (A)Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and ^(B)you do not receive Our witness.

¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, ^(A)for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

²⁶ I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but ^(A)He who sent Me is true; and ^(B)I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.”

^11 (A)He came to His ^[a]own, and His ^[b]own did not receive Him.

²⁰ For ^(A)the Father loves the Son, and ^(B)shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

³³ He who has received His testimony ^(A)has certified that God is true.

² God has not cast away His people whom ^(A)He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, ^3 (B)“Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? ⁴ But what does the divine response say to him? ^(C)“I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” ^5 (D)Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. ⁶ And ^(E)if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. ^[a]But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

¹⁶ But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, ^(A)“Lord, who has believed our report?” ¹⁷ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

¹⁸ But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed:
