For God So Loved the World

¹⁶ “For ^(A)God so loved ^(B)the world,^{[a] (C)}that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not ^(D)perish but have eternal life.

⁹ because, if ^(A)you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and ^(B)believe in your heart ^(C)that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

³⁸ And Peter said to them, ^(A)“Repent and ^(B)be baptized every one of you ^(C)in the name of Jesus Christ ^(D)for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive ^(E)the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Peace with God Through Faith

5 ^(A)Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, ^(B)we^[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. ² Through him we have also ^(C)obtained access by faith^[b] into this grace ^(D)in which we stand, and ^(E)we^[c] rejoice^[d] in hope of the glory of God.

⁴⁵ Then ^(A)he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, ⁴⁶ and said to them, “Thus ^(B)it is written, ^(C)that the Christ should suffer and on the third day ^(D)rise from the dead, ⁴⁷ and that ^(E)repentance for^[a] the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed ^(F)in his name ^(G)to all nations, ^(H)beginning from Jerusalem.

^19 (A)Repent therefore, and ^(B)turn back, that ^(C)your sins may be blotted out,

^30 (A)The times of ignorance ^(B)God overlooked, but ^(C)now he ^(D)commands all people everywhere to repent,

^9 (A)The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise ^(B)as some count slowness, but ^(C)is patient toward you,^{[a] (D)}not wishing that any should perish, but ^(E)that all should reach repentance.

^32 (A)So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven,
