When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”(A) Simon answered, “Master, we have worked all night long but have caught nothing. Yet if you say so, I will let down the nets.”(B) When they had done this, they caught so many fish that their nets were beginning to burst. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.

But someone has testified somewhere,

“What are humans that you are mindful of them[a]
    or mortals that you care for them?[b](A)
You have made them for a little while lower[c] than the angels;
    you have crowned them with glory and honor,[d]
    subjecting all things under their feet.”

Now in subjecting all things to them, God[e] left nothing outside their control. As it is, we do not yet see everything in subjection to them,(B) but we do see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower[f] than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God[g] he might taste death for everyone.(C)
