²¹ Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”^(A)

¹⁸ As you have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.^{(A) 19} And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.

²⁰ Very truly, I tell you, whoever receives one whom I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.”^(A)

¹⁷ “Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world but in order that the world might be saved through him.^(A)

⁸ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”^(A)

¹⁵ And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news^[a] to the whole creation. ¹⁶ The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned. ¹⁷ And these signs will accompany those who believe: by using my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; ¹⁸ they will pick up snakes,^[b] and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

⁴⁷ and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.^{(A) 48} You are witnesses^[a] of these things.^{(B) 49} And see, I am sending upon you what my Father promised, so stay here in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”^(C)

¹⁸ And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.^{(A) 19} Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit^{(B) 20} and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”^[a]

⁴⁰ “Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.^(A)

² and what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.^(A)
