^21 (A)Whoever has my commandments and ^(B)keeps them, he it is who loves me. And ^(C)he who loves me ^(D)will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and ^(E)manifest myself to him.”

²³ Jesus answered him, ^(A)“If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and ^(B)we will come to him and ^(C)make our home with him.

⁴² Jesus said to them, ^(A)“If God were your Father, you would love me, for ^(B)I came from God and ^(C)I am here. ^(D)I came not of my own accord, but ^(E)he sent me.

^19 (A)We love because he first loved us.

^8 (A)Though you have not seen him, you love him. ^(B)Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,

Jesus and Peter

¹⁵ When they had ^(A)finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, ^(B)“Simon, ^(C)son of John, ^(D)do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed ^(E)my lambs.” ¹⁶ He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, ^(F)“Tend ^(G)my sheep.” ¹⁷ He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him ^(H)the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, ^(I)you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed ^(J)my sheep.

^23 (A)I in them and you in me, ^(B)that they may become perfectly one, ^(C)so that the world may know that you sent me and ^(D)loved them even as ^(E)you loved me.
