³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you ^(A)to myself, that ^(B)where I am you may be also.

²⁶ If anyone serves me, he must ^(A)follow me; and ^(B)where I am, there will my servant be also. ^(C)If anyone serves me, ^(D)the Father will honor him.

¹⁶ For ^(A)the Lord himself will descend ^(B)from heaven ^(C)with a cry of command, with the voice of ^(D)an archangel, and ^(E)with the sound of the trumpet of God. And ^(F)the dead in Christ will rise first. ¹⁷ Then we who are alive, who are left, will be ^(G)caught up together with them ^(H)in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so ^(I)we will always be with the Lord.

¹¹ and said, ^(A)“Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, ^(B)will ^(C)come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

¹⁷ and if children, then ^(A)heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, ^(B)provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

^28 (A)You heard me say to you, ^(B)‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I ^(C)am going to the Father, for ^(D)the Father is greater than I.

²⁸ so Christ, having been offered once ^(A)to bear the sins of ^(B)many, will appear ^(C)a second time, ^(D)not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly ^(E)waiting for him.

²⁴ Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be ^(A)with me ^(B)where I am, ^(C)to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me ^(D)before the foundation of the world.
