^20 (A)In that day you will know that ^(B)I am in my Father, and ^(C)you in me, and ^(D)I in you.

⁵ I am the vine; ^(A)you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that ^(B)bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. ⁶ If anyone does not abide in me ^(C)he is thrown away like a branch and withers; ^(D)and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. ⁷ If ^(E)you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ^(F)ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

^26 (A)I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love ^(B)with which you have loved me may be in them, and ^(C)I in them.”

²⁰ I have been ^(A)crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives ^(B)in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(C)who loved me and ^(D)gave himself for me.

^21 (A)that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that ^(B)they also may be in ^(C)us, so that the world ^(D)may believe that you have sent me. ^22 (E)The glory that you have given me ^(F)I have given to them, ^(G)that they may be one even as we are one, ^23 (H)I in them and you in me, ^(I)that they may become perfectly one, ^(J)so that the world may know that you sent me and ^(K)loved them even as ^(L)you loved me.

Life in the Spirit

8 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.^[a]

^12 (A)No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and ^(B)his love is perfected in us.

¹⁰ Do you not believe that ^(A)I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you ^(B)I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

^27 (A)To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are ^(B)the riches of the glory of ^(C)this mystery, which is Christ in you, ^(D)the hope of glory.
