^17 (A)the Spirit of truth, ^(B)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you ^(C)and will be in you.

²⁷ I will put My ^(A)Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.

¹³ However, when He, ^(A)the Spirit of truth, has come, ^(B)He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

²⁷ But the ^(A)anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and ^(B)you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing ^(C)teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you ^[a]will abide in Him.

The Coming Rejection

^26 (A)“But when the ^[a]Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, ^(B)He will testify of Me.

⁶ We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. ^(A)By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

^16 (A)Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

^14 (A)But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

¹⁹ Or ^(A)do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, ^(B)and you are not your own?

¹³ For ^(A)if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you ^(B)put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. ¹⁴ For ^(C)as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
