13 When Pilate heard what they were saying, he brought Yeshua outside and sat down on the judge’s seat in the place called The Pavement (in Aramaic, Gabta); 14 it was about noon on Preparation Day for Pesach. He said to the Judeans, “Here’s your king!” 15 They shouted, “Take him away! Take him away! 13 When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s seat(A) at a place known as the Stone Pavement (which in Aramaic(B) is Gabbatha). 14 It was the day of Preparation(C) of the Passover; it was about noon.(D)
“Here is your king,”(E) Pilate said to the Jews.
15 But they shouted, “Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!”
“Shall I crucify your king?” Pilate asked.
“We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered.
