⁷ But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the ^[a](A)Helper will not come to you; but if I go, ^(B)I will send Him to you. ⁸ And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment: ⁹ regarding sin, ^(C)because they do not believe in Me; ¹⁰ and regarding ^(D)righteousness, because ^(E)I am going to the Father and you no longer are going to see Me; ^11 (F)and regarding judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

¹² “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them at the present time. ¹³ But when He, ^(G)the Spirit of truth, comes, He will ^(H)guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. ¹⁴ He will ^(I)glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you. ^15 (J)All things that the Father has are Mine; this is why I said that He takes from Mine and will disclose it to you.

⁹ However, you are not ^(A)in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God ^(B)dwells in you. But ^(C)if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.

¹² The ^(A)distinguishing marks ^[a]of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance, by ^[b]signs, wonders, and ^[c]miracles. ¹³ For in what respect were you treated as inferior to the rest of the churches, except that ^(B)I myself did not become a burden to you? Forgive me ^(C)this wrong!

¹⁴ Here ^(D)for this third time I am ready to come to you, and I ^(E)will not be a burden to you; for I ^(F)do not seek what is yours, but ^(G)you; for ^(H)children are not responsible to save up for their parents, but ^(I)parents for their children.

¹³ In ^[a]Him, ^[b]you also, after listening to ^(A)the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also ^[c]believed, you were ^(B)sealed in ^[d]Him with ^(C)the Holy Spirit of the promise,

¹⁴ who is a ^(A)first installment of ^(B)our inheritance, in regard to the ^(C)redemption of ^(D)God’s own possession, ^(E)to the praise of His glory.
