The Plot to Kill Lazarus
9 Now a great many of the Jews knew that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, (A)whom He had raised from the dead. 10 (B)But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, 11 (C)because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.

9 Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.(A) 10 So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well, 11 for on account of him(B) many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and believing in him.(C)
