John 12:5-6

5 “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii[a] and (A)given to the poor?” 6 He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and (B)having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it.

5 “Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.[a]” 6 He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag,(A) he used to help himself to what was put into it.
